Solaris is a collection of padded furniture for the outdoors. The series takes its name after the famous movie by Andrej Tarkovskij, whose influence is clear in the call to nature. Solaris is composed by three core elements: a single square module, a daybed module and a hexagonal module (with or without armrests and in the ottoman version without backrest), which can be freely assembled. The rigidity of the extruded aluminium structure, available in all the Fast shades, is softened by the generous cushioning. The latter, suitable for the outdoors proposed in either the standard or waterproof versions, are in removable fabric. Backrest and armrests can also come with a polypropylene weave in flat rope, available in six shades. In December 2023, the Solaris collection was awarded the prestigious German Design Award.
