Zinco is a freestanding bookcase that emphasizes the material: steel, precisely worked and intentionally left exposed in its structural elements. Designed by Luca Pevere, it stands out for its industrial and functional aesthetic, devoid of ornaments. Steel rod uprights and folded sheet metal shelves define a rigorous yet visually light structure. Exposed mechanical fastenings become an integral part of the project's expressive language, highlighting its constructive honesty. Each module is completely dismountable: a choice that optimizes logistics and the production process, but also a design gesture consistent with the idea of a technical and conscious object. The generous proportions and high load capacity make it suitable for domestic, work, or contract environments. Zinco does not seek mimicry: it claims its status as a technical system, clear and readable. It is part of the "Metal is our nature" collection with which Desalto pays homage to its industrial DNA.
