Kin is the new family of seats by Baleri Italia, inspired by the Japanese technique of Kintsugi, a technique that tends to emphasise the breakage of an object rather than hide it. The designers Radice and Orlandini recompose the different parts of the structure, thus conveying the impression of an apparently unstable balance. The structure is hidden from view and the apparent contrast between the various parts can be accentuated with different finishes and materials. Structure in painted steel tube, non-removable cover in fabric, leather and eco-leather in the sample categories.
