Incredibly light and easy to assemble, Hope represents the magic of traditional lamps, reinterpreting them with sophisticated technologies and contemporary materials. A series of thin polycarbonate Fresnel lenses, created using imprinted micro prisms on polycarbonate film to achieve a dioptre effect similar to glass (without any limitations in terms of space, thickness and weight), multiply the light from the light source, recreating a pleasant, glittery and party-like atmosphere, sprinkled with thousands of shards of light like the diamond which inspired the name: Hope. Composed by a few chosen elements: lean three-dimensional frame in sliced and bent steel, several injection moulded polycarbonate transparent stems on which will be placed the lenses, and a simple central lamp. It is the fruit of a brilliant project and manufacturing process – has been designed for use with any type of light source: the latest generation of halogens and energy-saving fluorescent light bulbs. Pendant (in three sizes) and wall versions available. Hope has been awarded with the prestigious Red Dot Design Award 2010 in the product design category, and with the "Premio die Premi per l'Innovazione" 2011, an important acknowledgement promoted by the Foundation for the Technologic Innovation and established by the Ministry of Public Administration and Innovation.
