Description

Depth Basin reinterprets the basin as an architectural element. The heart of the project is Depth Basin: a “window” of transparent water carved within an eight-centimeter thick shelf. The inclined bottom in transparent glass amplifies the perception of depth and creates a visual play between solids and voids, turning a daily gesture into an aesthetic experience. The top in Wildwood tobacco, a material oak with marked veins, adds warmth and authenticity. The thermal treatment makes the wood particularly resistant to liquids, improving its stability and durability over time. The surface remains natural to the touch but more performant in everyday use. The composition can be completed with coordinated elements from the Lago collection: the Pleasure Mirror with Natural mirror finish, the Morgana chest of drawers in Almond polished glass, and the Materia wall units with fronts in XGlass glossy gray Onyx. Depth Basin combines formal research, technological innovation, and advanced materials in a bathroom with a decisive and contemporary character.
