Le Corbusier - Jeanneret Pierre - Perriand Charlotte
Elegant and updated reissue of a historic project from 1935, the 20 Casiers Standard container interprets in a modern way the original idea of Le Corbusier for the Maison du Jeune Homme at the Expo in Brussels. The rigorous structure is based on 75x75x37.5 cm modules, with open or closed compartments, offered in predefined compositions. The formal simplicity is balanced by a great attention to detail: the internal shelves are adjustable in 5 positions, while the support relies on two painted metal corolla bases. The contrasting finishes, in neutral or natural tones, create a graphic play of full and empty spaces, functional and decorative at the same time.
