Yang is a sculptural showcase that interprets the archetype of the display case in a contemporary way, inspired by the Taoist philosophy of yin and yang. Designed by Marta Giardini, it is based on the balance between opposites: inside and outside, protection and visibility, matter and transparency. The structure, light and essential, is made of anodized aluminum and covered in crystal, creating a continuous dialogue between what is protected and what is shown. The central element of the project is the sculptural handle, a large metal circle that interrupts the linearity of the frame and becomes the visual and symbolic focal point. The satin surfaces of the structure contrast with the brightness of the handle, treated like a jewel. Yang is presented as an object with a strong architectural presence but with a versatile nature, capable of adapting to residential and contract contexts, enhancing collections, objects, and materials through a refined, balanced, and timeless aesthetic.
