Lipstick Mirror

Lipstick is a full-height mirror that combines formal simplicity and evocative power through a minimal but highly recognizable sign. Designed by Bruno Rainaldi, it presents itself as a linear and clean reflective surface, interrupted by a red screen-printed detail: a lip imprint that introduces a narrative and symbolic dimension. This seemingly light graphic element turns the functional object into an iconic furnishing accessory, capable of evoking imagery related to cinema, femininity, and collective memory. The project plays on the contrast between rigor and irony, between the neutrality of the mirror and the intensity of the sign, making Lipstick immediately recognizable without being invasive. Its presence naturally adapts to different contexts, from domestic spaces such as entrances, bathrooms, and bedrooms to contract environments and public places, where it adds personality while maintaining strong compositional sobriety.
