Monk Armchair

Designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa and now part of the Heritage Collection by Molteni&C, the armchair Monk combines a minimalist spirit with artisanal sophistication. The structure, in solid American walnut wood, available in coffee oak or black variants, hosts a smooth leather seat that elegantly stretches between the two sides, evoking an idea of sophisticated essentiality. The backrest and seat, flexible yet solid, are fixed by eight steel rivets, a technical element that becomes aesthetic detail. A design that is rigorous yet welcoming, capable of engaging with contemporary environments and spaces of more classic taste.
