Koji Coffee Table

Koji is an adjustable coffee table designed by Lapo Ciatti that dynamically interprets the needs of contemporary living. Inspired by the concept of fermentation as an active and transformative element, the project stands out for its flexibility of use and mobility. The steel structure supports an essential top that, thanks to an adjustment system with a knob, allows height adjustment based on different daily activities. Integrated into the base, two discreet wheels make it easy to move Koji, transforming it into a nomadic accessory: a support surface beside the sofa, a laptop stand, a temporary workstation, or a standing desk to promote better posture. Designed for residential environments and contract spaces, Koji naturally fits into living rooms, offices, coworking spaces, and common areas. The project pays particular attention to sustainability, also offering an eco-friendly top made with recycled and recyclable materials. A multifunctional table combining practicality, design research, and environmental responsibility.
