Florens is a floor-standing storage unit, geometric yet soft-shaped, designed for the living area. By Gabriele and Oscar Buratti in occasion of their first collaboration with Lema. The piece is distinguished by its monolithic appearance enhanced by the unexpected cut given by the coated bronze painted metal profile, hollowed out flush on the top in either heat-treated oak, matte or glossy, or in marble. A horizontal marking that, hidden from view by the either lacquered or wooden front panel of the door, creates the groove that serves as handle. The interiors are available in Grey Velvet (an advanced ultra-matte material, velvet to the touch, with high resistance) with tempered glass tops and integrated lighting system. Florence can be completed by a heat-treated oak or L-walnut shelf with open compartments enriched with removable trays inspired by the cabinet-maker tradition.
